Torpoint Youth Charter Standard Presentation Evening


Friday 8th November saw Torpoint Youth achieve their FA Charter Standard Club Award.

Torpoint Youth have been awarded the 'FA Charter Standard Club' Award

On Friday 8th November 213 at TAFC Torpoint Youth was awarded the 'FA Charter Standard Club' Award. The award was presented By : Brian Conyon (MBE) CCFA President and Glynis Kitching ( Charter Standard Coordinator) and Steve Foster (Club Chairman) recieved the award.The club also have 6, U11s and 2, U16s

All young players and parents attended the presentation evening which was a great success, Phil Cardew CCFA development officer outlined the importance of the Charter Standard Award and that everybody connected to the club have worked extremely hard to get the required criteria in place.

The next stage will be for the adult and youth sections to formalise what are already very strong links to become a FA Charter Standard Community club and once achieved will be one of only 15 clubs with the award in the County which reflects the strength of grass roots football in Torpoint.
