Floodlit Pitch

Grants & Funding

From building a new facility to buying a new team kit, developing the game takes money.

Working in partnership with the Football Foundation, Sport England, Local Authorities and partner organisations, we aim to shine a light on the funding opportunities and grants available to the football community in Cornwall.

So whether you are looking to start new teams, retain existing ones, develop coaches, purchase equipment, renovate facilities or develop new ones…We commit to supporting all funding applications from county clubs, leagues and facility providers with advice and guidance.

Find information on national and local funding opportunities below.

Groundspeople - We want to hear from you! Grass pitches research

The FA and County FA's are supporting and improving grass pitches and receiving feedback from partners is crucial to this. Please see below a message from The FA Facilities team regarding a survey that is live at the minute;

"We want to hear from groundspeople who maintain grass football pitches in grassroots football.
The FA wants to understand more about grass pitch facilities in England. This research will be integral to informing a new strategy to improve grass pitches across the country.
With significant investment plans being developed for public sector pitches, additional funding for equipment and help being offered around maintenance, we want to hear from groundspeople as part of the consultation period, as your feedback will be integral in order to improve Grass Pitch provision for all.
The survey link is here http://uk.focusvision.com/b/5a3/190219 and we’d like to hear from anyone who is involved in maintaining grass pitches in grassroots football.
It will take between 15-20 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept anonymous with results used internally to help steer strategic direction.
As a thank you for completing the survey, you’ll be in a prize draw with a chance to win a visit to Wembley or St George’s Park to meet the head groundsman for a consultation meeting and walk around the pitches as well as a stadium or facility tour for up to four people.
We value and thank you for your involvement in this project. To confirm the intent of this research, a letter is attached from the Head of Behavioural Insight &  at Business Analytics at The FA.
Best Regards,
Stuart Wood
Facilities Team, The FA"

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday 15th March.
