WOMEN'S FOOTBALL IN CORNWALL

Whether at a local club, in a social small sided league or a kick around with your friends, there's likely to be an opportunity for you to get involved in female football across Cornwall.

Cornwall County FA helps to organise, develop and support a wide range of opportunities for females age 16+ to participate within football and provide support to clubs, players, coaches and volunteers through:

  • Club Development
  • Volunteering Opportunities
  • England Football Accreditation
  • Cornwall Women’s League
  • Football Foundation Grow the Game Grants

There are a number of women’s clubs in Cornwall providing football for players aged 16+. The entry level for adult teams is through the Earthbound Electrical Cornwall Women's Football League going up to the South West Womens League Western and Premier Divisions.

Women’s football is currently played on a Sunday afternoon and many teams have weekly training sessions taking place midweek.
