Cornwall FA Club Support Fund

Clubs can now apply for a grant of up to a maximum of £500!

CLUBS CAN NOW APPLY FOR CORNWALL FA’S CLUB SUPPORT FUND. 

Cornwall FA is delighted to announce the relaunch of the Cornwall FA's Club Support Fund (previously Small Grant Scheme). 

This initiative aims to support clubs in the County that are not part of the National League system, SW Peninsula League (Step 6 and above), providing funds for the general upkeep/improvements of their facilities.  


Clubs must be affiliated to Cornwall FA and also have or be working towards Accreditation Status within 3 months.  Please note: only one application per club should be submitted and be agreed by the committee.

Cornwall FA is aware that a large number of our clubs find difficulty in raising funds to improve/maintain their facilities and that any fundraising carried out is often restricted to their own membership/players providing such funds.  

A grant of up to a maximum of £500 per club is available.  Applications will be assessed on merit and urgency in order to ensure uninterrupted club activities.  Some successful applications may be temporarily deferred until additional funds become available.

The Process:

Clubs should complete the application below by Friday May 3rd 2024, 5.00pm

A panel consisting of Board, Staff and newly formed (Facilities and Funding) Football Advisory Working Group will then assess each application. With applicants to be notified by Monday 3rd June 2024 via email.

Clubs who receive a grant must provide receipts for the materials/products purchased and on completion forward them to the Cornwall FA before any funding is released, this must be completed by the Friday 30th August 2024.

Board, Staff and (Facilities and Funding) Football Advisory Working Group will be involved in visiting the ground to review the work carried out.

 Paint for re-decoration of club facilities                              
 Purchase of new pitch marking machine
 Purchase of new goal nets                                                    
 General maintenance of the ground
 Tea hut refurbishment
 Change boiler
 Improve dug outs
 Club kitchen refurbishment
 Goalposts    

Key Dates: 
  • Submit this application by Friday 3rd May 2024 5.00pm. 
  • Applicants will receive notification regarding their application from Cornwall FA by Monday 3rd June 2024. 
  • All work must be completed by Friday 30th August 2024.
