Cornwall FA is delighted to announce two Coach Development events to be held in the County in May.

Following on from our Coach Development event in Penryn, Cornwall FA will be continuing our Coach Development programme with a pair of events in May. These sessions will focus on the Match Day Experience and the following areas in particular:

• What do positive coaching behaviours look like on matchday?
• What decisions might I need to think about before, during and after the game?
• How do I use each matchday to support player learning and skill development?

This session will be delivered in both the West and East of the county in order to reach as many people as possible. Dates are as follows:

Penzance (Mounts Bay Academy) – Tuesday, 16^th May (6:30-8:30pm)

Saltash (Saltash United) – Thursday, 18^th May (6:30-8:30pm)

Delivery will be lead by Abdoullah Kheir (Penzance) and Vinnie Halsall (Saltash), FA Coach Development Officers for the South West region. The workshops will start in the classroom before heading outside for practical work on the pitch. Abdoullah and Vinnie will work with local Cornish youth players to show the ideas in practice.
