2022 - Female Coaching Community Workshops

Cornwall FA to deliver Female Community Coaching Workshops

A total of 9 workshops will be available to support female grassroots coaches or those interested in coaching.

As part of the Coach Development Programme, Cornwall FA are delighted to share the details of the new Female Community Coaching Workshops which have been introduced to support and develop grassroots female coaches or those looking to start their coaching journey.

Females aged 14+ are welcome to book on and attend as many workshops as desired. They can even if they are currently without a coaching qualification as the evenings will provide an opportunity to identify the best next steps to take a more active role in coaching grassroots football in Cornwall.

Led by Vicky Fisher, FA Regional Coach Development Officer Women and Girls (South West), the workshops will provide the opportunity for volunteer coaches to discuss their coaching experiences, gain new insights and ideas to apply at their grassroots clubs and network with other local coaches.

The workshops will run primarily face to face with a few being delivered online. The workshops are running across the county with the view of reaching and supporting a range of coaches. All the details for the upcoming workshops can be found by clicking here as well as below.

The workshops will also provide the opportunity to gain support and guidance through collaborative discussions with other coaches and Vicky so it would be great to see coaches attend the workshops”.
