Cornwall FA is committed to developing opportunities for footballers with a Disability, whether as a player, coach, referee or volunteer.
Disability Football has grown in Cornwall, and there are many opportunities to play around the County, including inclusive clubs for Male and Female players.
Cornwall FA supports a number of Disability Football initiatives across the county including:
- Cornwall Pan-Disability Football League
- Cornwall Special Olympics
If you have a Sensory or Learning Disability and are not able to play in mainstream football then the Cornwall Pan-Disability Football League and Clubs can get you involved regardless of your perceived ability!

Cornwall FA & Devon FA have been successful in a Disability Football Workforce Fund application to the FA for £75,000 to support the growth and retention of Disability Football teams across both counties. The FA Disability Workforce Fund programme will be delivered across a 3 year period (2016 – 2019) to increase participation in competitive and recreational opportunities, up skill Football coaches and the development of a Devon & Cornwall Disability Football Steering Group. This includes:
- 21 new Disability Football teams across Devon and Cornwall (7 male adult, 11 youth and 3 female teams)
- 31 new “turn up and play” center's for Disability Football to offer new recreational provision
- 72 coaches completing the FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course
- Formation of a new Disability Football Steering Group with partners from the education, health, disability and youth sector
