Cornwall FA are happy to announce that we are taking expressions of interest for the Newquay and Callywith Divisions of the East Cornwall Flexi League for the upcoming season.

Newquay Flexi League Format:

• Tuesday nights at Godolphin Atlantic Newquay flood-lit grass pitch
• Fixtures kick off at 6:45pm and 8:00pm
• 60 minute games (30 minute halves with 5 minute half time break)
• The league will run over two phases, with Phase 1 running from July - October 2024 and phase 2 running from February - April 2025, thus allowing for a winter break
• Teams to play fixtures in traditional format (typically every 2 weeks)

Callywith Flexi League Format:

• Monday nights at Callywith College 3G
• 1 fixture per game week
• Kick off 8:15pm
• 60 minute games (30 minute halves with 5 minute half time break)
• The league will run over two phases, with Phase 1 running from September - November 2024 and phase 2 running from January - April 2025, thus allowing for a winter break
• Teams to play fixtures in traditional format (typically every 2 weeks)

To ensure the selection process is fair and open to all interested teams, we are welcoming teams to register their interest via this online form.  Flexi league is designed to support 16 + year olds in their transition to adult football, players who cannot commit to weekend football, or players returning to the game looking for a flexible style of football. It is not open to traditional league sides as an additional league to participate in. The league can also support teams that have recently withdrawn from a league to keep them going and help them rebuild.

Expressions of interest must be submitted by Friday 23rd July.

Following your expression of interest, Cornwall FA will review the responses and contact teams to explain whether they have been accepted into the league for the 2024/25 season. If interest exceeds availability, then the teams that fit the Flexi-League purpose and ethos most suitably will be selected.
