Cornwall FA looks forward to welcoming you for Part 2 of The Fundamentals of Coaching development event at the Cornwall Girls' Emerging Talent Centre. This part of the course will focus on Developing the Player.
Please note: You do NOT need to have attended Part 1 of this course in order to book on and attend the upcoming Part 2.
As part of the Cornwall FA Coach Development Programme, The Fundamentals of Coaching Series explores how to create a positive and engaging coaching environment as well as how to hone your observational skills to help develop more skilful players. The second part of this course, with a focus on Developing the Player, is now set for Friday, 10th March having been rearranged from the initially planned date in February.
The Fundamentals of Coaching (Part 2) - Developing The Player
This session will be delivered by Cornwall Emerging Talent Centre Player Development Lead Vicky Fisher and FA Womens High Performance Coach Developer Tash Mills who will both share their vast experience and expertise with the grassroots coaches in attendance.
Part 2 of this series will build on the first event, continuing the theme of creating a positive environment as well as helping coaches to understand how they can further impact the needs of individuals within coaching session. To do this, Vicky and Tash will use an older age group (U14) to focus on helping coaches develop their observational skills to help coaches to notice skills within practice and link these to the types of interventions coaches may use to positively impact player learning.
Please be aware, this event may be photographed and/or video recorded and shared by Cornwall FA and partners for marketing purposes.
To secure your place on the event, sign up using this form and feel free to share this event with other coaches at your club. After you have booked on, an email will be sent out closer to the event to provide a preview of the night and any relevant further details (e.g. venue parking).
