Cornwall FA are delighted to support Newquay AFC in launching a new Pan-disability recreational football hub.

The Pan-disability recreation football hub in Newquay is the first of three to be launched across the County during the 22/23 season. The hub will be open to all ages allowing greater access to participants, with the first part of the session offered to youth (ages 5-15) and the second part to the open age (ages 16+).   

Each of the Hubs will be free of charge to participants and offer a recreational style of provision to participants. The centres will allow participants to benefit both physically and socially as it would allow a centre where participants can feel accepted, share experiences and be in environment with peers with similar disabilities.

The hub will be beginning its indoor provision from Tuesday 10th January 2023 and operate weekly between 17:00-18:00pm.  The Hub will be open invite allowing the pan-disability community to access the hub at any point in the provision.

Youth - Ages 5 to 15

When: Tuesday’s (starting on 10th January 2023)

Youth Timings: 5:00pm to 5:30pm

Cornwall FA Women’s, Girls and Disability Officer Andrew Heapy said ‘We are delighted to introduce the first Pan-disability recreational football hub in Newquay.
