On Saturday 14th May 2022, Mullion overcame Truro City Reserves to win 1-0 in the Cornwall Intermediate Cup Final. 

Hosted at Wendron United Football Club, a fitting venue for the inaugural Cornwall Intermediate Cup Final. The new cup competition involving teams from the St Pirans League, Cornwall Combination League and East Cornwall Premier League saw Mullion FC and Truro City Reserves searching to the be the first clubs to lift the Trophy for this new competition. 

Both teams started brightly, with the fixture being closely contested throughout the 90 minutes. The difference between the two sides was a  breakthrough and consequently winning goal scored by Mullion’s Harry Roberts in the 28th minute.

Cornwall FA would like to congratulate Mullion FC on their victory and thank Wendron United for hosting the final.
