St Agnes AFC receive funding for an automated external defibrillator

The funding was gained through the Premier League Defibrillator Fund.
Enys Parc, home of St Agnes AFC and St Agnes Sports Club, becomes a safer place with the installation of an automated external defibrillator.

Received from Premier League Defibrillator Fund, St Agnes AFC are delighted to have a fully functioning automated external defibrillator located on site. The Premier League Defibrillator Fund aims to support the installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and External Storage Cabinets at thousands of grassroots football facilities currently without an easily accessible device on site to help save the life of someone experiencing a cardiac arrest.

Previously St Agnes AFC had secured an internal Defibrillator from fundraising and donations however after being successful with the Premier League Defibrillator Fund, the externally fitted defibrillator is now not only helping the club further the safety of its players, members and visitors, it is also helping the local community have access to the defibrillator if every needed.

Mandy Kimmins from St Agnes AFC said, “Enys Parc and our wider community are very grateful to have received the funding for the automated external defibrillator. We would also like to thank Alan Odgers of Duchy Defibrillators who volunteered to come along and help set up and register the new automated external defibrillator on The Circuit - The National Defibrillator Network and South West Ambulance Service”.
