Cornwall FA were delighted to welcome Level 3 and 4 referees from across the county to a training event delivered by special guests from the EFL and South West Pool Observer Coordinator department.

The training event welcomed Brett Huxtable from the EFL and South West Pool Observer Coordinator Cameron Mann who collaboratively delivered an interactive presentation, followed by a question and answer session.

During the presentation they talked about a number of topics including the observer scheme for Step 5 and 6 Referees as well as dealing with Mass Confrontation. The referees who attended were given the opportunity for discussion and to ask questions during the event to allow them to share their experiences and advice with one another.

Cornwall FA Referee Development Officer Lee Swabey added, “We’d like to thank the referees who attended as well as Brett and Cameron for taking the time to travel down and offer their support to our referees”.
