Cornwall FA were delighted to welcome teams from across the County to Bodmin Leisure Centre over the weekend to compete in the Pokémon Futsal Cup County Qualifiers.

On Saturday 2^nd April, the U10 and U12 boys/mixed competitions were delivered, with the Girls U12 and U16 competitions running on Sunday 3rd April.

The winners from the weekend qualifiers progress to a Regional Tournament at the University of Wolverhampton and then the National Finals in Spring 2022.

Daniel Greenough, Cornwall FA Football Development Manager said, “it was brilliant to see the Pokémon Futsal Cup County Qualifiers return following the COVID-19 pandemic. Futsal is a brilliant way to develop more skilful players and the players loved the fast-paced nature of the game. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the first weekend of qualifiers and look forward to welcoming the remaining age groups next weekend”.
