Kelliwik's glowing Respect feedback

Respect is at the forefront of Kelliwik football club.

Cornwall FA were delighted to present Kelliwik Youth with some respect merchandise after received glowing feedback about the club and in particular their U13’s team.

Representatives from the DJM league who watched a couple of Kelliwik’s U13’s fixture were delighted to see the respectful behaviour shown by the players, manager, lineman and spectators of the team.  A Devon club were also extremely complimentary of Kelliwik regarding the atmosphere and warm welcome they received when they visited for a fixture and commented that the team were a pleasure to play against.

Claire Summers-Evans Safeguarding Officer and Respect Lead for Cornwall FA said “It was a real privilege to be able to attend a Kelliwik training session and present the club with some respect merchandise.  I was thrilled to have received this feedback as ordinarily I only get to hear about poor behaviour!  This club have such a good ethos and it’s very clear that they put the enjoyment of all the players above everything else and we were even joined by Kelliwik Keith the club mascot!  The club officials, coaches, spectators and of course the players should all be extremely proud of themselves”.

Erica, Club Secretary at Kelliwik FC added, “We are so proud to have such a fun and family focused football club with amazing coaches and parent volunteers who seem to enjoy time at the football club as much as the children. They each go above and beyond every week to ensure that football is played in a fun and safe environment for our players. We are immensely proud of our players conduct and attitudes, both on and off the pitch and are delighted to receive such positive feedback.
