Black History Month

Book now for upcoming webinars as part of black history month

Black History Month is about recognising the important contributions that the Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic communities have added to football and wider society.

This year the Black History Month theme is ‘Proud to Be’ – “The campaign aims to make Black History Month 2021 personal and unique to individuals, families and communities, focusing on how we’re all making history all the time in our own ways, as well as the contributions and achievements of Black people throughout history.”

Black History Month also provides an opportunity for us to reflect on the past, present and future of equality in our sport and look at what we can do to create change.
To do this, the FA are hosting three live webinars that you can join to hear open and honest discussions from people in the game about their experiences, and what Black History Month means to them.

Thursday 14th October – 6:30pm

The FA are joined by former England international and Team GB Paralympian, Alistair Patrick-Heselton.

Alistair has overcome more challenges than most during his illustrious career and now proudly works as a coach, mentor and public speaker helping the next generation of footballers across the country.
