After the disruption of the last 2 years we are very excited to start seeing events in the calendar and the future plans for Walking Football getting back on track!
We will be holding two festivals simultaneously at the same venue to offer as many opportunities as possible for players and teams of all ages to get involved.
We are aiming for all matches to be officiated by FA qualified referees who have also attended a Walking Football workshop. If there are any changes to this we will let all teams know and make other arrangements.
Venue: Newquay Tretherras School
Date: Sunday 12/12/21
Time: 3:00pm arrival / 6:00pm finish
Entry Fee: £20 per team (less than £3 a player with subs)
Over 50's - On the 3G AstroTurf (Unlimited)
Over 60's - Indoor Sports Hall (Maximum of 6 teams total - first come first serve due to space/time available)
Both competitions will run in a round robin, festival format and length/quantity of games will be dependent upon the number of entries.
Weather/Refreshments - There will be an indoor area that all teams can use between games to dry off in case of bad weather! Newquay Sports Bar should also be open all day for refreshments if required which is only a 2 minute walk from the pitches.
