FA Grassroots Awards 2021 Winners Announced
Cornwall FA are delighted to announce this year's FA and McDonald's Grassroots Award winners.
The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards are for people who make a positive difference. It’s our way to celebrate the fantastic individuals who put their heart and soul into the grassroots game across England – and say a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who inspire us all.
After receiving numerous nominations across the different categories, an awards panel was brought together to select the winners for each award. With some great nominations submitted this year, it was great to see the great work various people have completed over the last season given all the challenges the pandemic has produced.
We can now reveal the winners of each category:
Coach of the Year Adult: Andy Jackson
Coach of the Year Youth: Mark Richards
Grounds Team of the Year: Tregorrick Youth
Rising Star of the Year: Tom Stephens
Spirit of Grassroots Football: Hailey Collins
Club of the Year: Saltash United

Volunteer of the Year: Jonathan Grigg
League of the year: Cornwall Womens Football League
Additionally, Cornwall FA had two local awards categories, these being:
Club or League Official of the Year: Penny Hodgson

Cornwall FA would like to congratulate all the winners on their achievements and deserved recognition. The award winners will be formally presented with their awards in the August/September to align with the start of the new season.
