Online CPD Events
Cornwall FA are delighted to announce 3 online CPD events for the Cornish Football Family. With previous CPD events being well received, the FA Regional Coach Development Team will covering a variety of different topics over the next few months.
Following the 3 online CPD events and moving into next season, our ambition is to provide a mixture of online and face to face CPD sessions for coaches across Cornwall to engage with. We will be communicating with you in the coming months to finalise what this CPD offering looks like.

The FA Introduction to Coaching Football Course - Coming Soon!
Do you want to be a FA Qualified coach? If so, The FA Introduction to Coaching Football qualification is for you! The new FA Introduction to Coaching Football course is being launched in the coming months to replace the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football qualification.
This will be an online course designed to provide learners with an introduction to coaching the game. The course will be complemented by practical and face to face learning experiences delivered locally as part of our ongoing coach development offer.

Are you an FA Playmaker?
Before enrolling on the new FA Introduction to Coaching Football qualification, you need to complete the FA Playmaker course, supported by BT. This is a free online entry-level course and you don’t need any previous football experience or qualifications before signing up. All you need is an FA account and a laptop, tablet or mobile device and you’re good to go. The course can be completed in your own time and at your own pace. Sign up to FA Playmaker today and complete the course, then you’ll be ready to go when the new FA Introduction to Coaching Football course launches.

The FA Safeguarding Children Course - Available Now!
The FA have redeveloping this course as an online learning module, that you can complete at a time that suits you and you can complete the new course now!
The new FA Safeguarding Children Course supports The FA’s strategic goal to raise standards across the game and will provide club representatives, coaches, referees and managers with an awareness of best practice in safeguarding children in football.
Focused on making football safe, the course will help you learn how to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, while understanding fears involved in these concerns.
The FA Safeguarding Children Course is designed for anyone that works with young people.
Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive a Safeguarding Children qualification and certificate that will appear on your FAN account and will be valid for two years. You can return to the course to refresh your knowledge at any time.
