CORNWALL FA IS DELIGHTED TO WELCOME LIAM MANKEE TO THE TEAM AS OUR NEW REFEREE APPOINTMENTS OFFICER

With the green light issued to start planning the return to grassroots football, Liam will officially join Cornwall FA on Monday 3rd August 2020.

After qualifying as a referee at the age of 14, Liam progressed to become a supply league referee and a contributory league assistant. After stepping back from the 11-a-side game he decided to give Futsal a go and managed to referee on the Futsal National League and the Blind Futsal National League. 

Liam will be known in the local community as both a referee and a referee tutor.

Liam said: “I am really excited to be joining the team at Cornwall FA and to help continue to improve Cornish football. Now there is some light at the end of the tunnel for a return to football, it will be all hands on deck. My phone is always on if you ever need any help or just a chat, please don’t hesitate. 

"I am really looking forward to working alongside Lee Swabey and the rest of the team at Cornwall FA and starting a new career within football but I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support from my family and friends.”

As Liam does not officially start with us until August, we would request that you please limit any contact with him for his new role until then.
