Cornwall FA Hold Customer Excellence Consultation Event

The team at Cornwall FA led by Mark Bradley (Fan Experience Company) and Darren Bernstein (FA Regional Manager) held a two-day Customer Service Consultation event involving all staff and a wide spectrum of stakeholders from across Cornwall's football family on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February 2020.

The focus for the two days involved analysing our engagement with our stakeholders, understanding the expectations and requirements to best support their needs and ensuring our focus into the future offers the best solutions to enable them to continue and develop their roles and stay in the game.

Wednesday’s workshop allowed Cornwall’s football family to gather thoughts and share experiences of why they are involved in football, whilst Thursday morning’s session saw staff members work through an action plan of how to continue working with and inspiring the county’s diverse football family.

Dawn Aberdeen, Cornwall FA Chief Executive, said: “We are acutely aware of the need to ensure we offer the highest levels of service and support to our volunteers in the county. Holding the event this week with independent consultants has given our volunteer stakeholders a great opportunity to voice their opinions, requirements and needs as to how we can continue to develop and grow as a County Association.

“We have an amazing team at Cornwall FA that are dedicated and enthusiastic to supporting our football family throughout the county and it has been a great opportunity to work together for a strong future.”

Daniel Greenough
, Senior Football Development Officer at Cornwall FA, added: “These workshops provided a fascinating insight into the impact of our work and it was reassuring to see how much progression Cornwall FA has made as an organisation.

“Supporting our fantastic football family is hugely important and something that we’ll continue to do, because without this workforce, grassroots football simply wouldn’t exist. My thanks go to Darren and everyone at the Fan Experience Company for their time and insight.”
