We are delighted to announce that Cornwall FA will be running a local round for the FA Pokémon Futsal Cup for boys/mixed for the first time ever whilst expanding to run a two-day girl's event. Please note that as this is a National competition, the County Champions for each age group will have an opportunity to progress to the Regional Finals and a chance to go National, with last year’s finals taking place at St Georges Park! 

There is a £20 entrance fee for all teams taking part in the county cup competitions.  Please note you can only enter one competition. 

Due to limited spaces within the boys/mixed competition only 10 teams per age will be permitted once the closing date has passed, a random draw will take place to determine who is entered into the competition with 5 teams from each youth league selected where possible.

We are delighted to be able to expand our girl's futsal county cup competition following the success of previous years. This year for the first time ever clubs will be able to enter more than one team per age group into the cup.  

Futsal Level 1 Course 
As part of the cup offer there will also be the opportunity for 1 coach from every team taking part in the cup to attend an upcoming Futsal level 1 course (limited spaces) with a 50% price reduction taking place on the 29th (evening - 3 hours) & 30th (morning - 3 hours) of November at Newquay Tretherras (need to attend both session). Leagues 

Daniel Greenough Senior Football Development Officer has highlighted, “It is exciting to see that our youth leagues and ourselves as a County FA are really trying to drive Futsal forward within cup and league opportunities.  It is amazing that the girl's provision is expanding again and will continue to do so as the game grows.  It is also brilliant that the boys are now starting to get the opportunity to play Futsal, everyone is working hard to grow this area, but it will take time to get to the ultimate aim of Futsal for all across the county."  

The Girls league are continuing and expanding once again, with their winter break provision for futsal for all age groups.  
The Kernow Youth Football League are going to pilot an U9 Futsal league (more information to follow).  
The East Cornwall Youth Football League are going to pilot an U9 and U10 Futsal league (more information to follow).
