We are pleased to welcome Daniel Greenough to the Cornwall FA team as he joins us as the new Senior Football Development Officer.

On Monday 26th February 2018 we welcomed another new face to the Cornwall FA team, Daniel has joined us as the Senior Football Development Officer. In his new role Daniel will be looking to co-ordinate our football development strategies, operational and project plans, he will manage the football development workforce, oversee the education programme and support funding applications. Dan will also look  to work with the football community supporting the protection and enhancement of football facilities across the County.

Daniel has been with Plymouth Argyle over the last 3 years working across number of roles including managing the Centre of Excellence, working with Paignton Sports Academy as their Football Education Manager and before that working with the Sports Science and Video Analysis teams. Daniel's experience with Plymouth Argyle has spanned over 11 years as he previously worked as a coach in various Academy roles.

In his previous role he worked as the FA Regional Youth Officer for 3 years heading up key projects across the South West including the Vauxhall Mash Up Programme and the initial support to Charter Standard Clubs as a Mentor, this then helped the FA to develop their current FA Mentor Programme which is hugely successful.

Here's what Daniel had to say about joining the Cornwall FA team;
