'Unite the Game' Workshops coming to Cornwall
The FA National Respect Manager Nathan French and National Clubs Operations Manager Tom Lee are coming to Cornwall to present the “Unite The Game” Respect Workshop.
It is a fantastic opportunity for coaches, managers, referees, club and league committee members, players and parents to learn more about The FA vision for the future of The Respect Programme. It is also a great chance for people involved in the game locally to feedback to The FA ideas for the future. We will be discussing the role everyone will play in Respect moving forward, what has been successful in the past and what could be improved. The Respect links with Charter Standard, Welfare and Safeguarding will also be topics on the evenings.
It is really exciting for Cornwall that The FA Respect Manager and Head of Club Operations are travelling down to Cornwall and shows how highly The FA values the input of Grassroots volunteers.
The Evening at St Mawgan is designed for the clubs, leagues, volunteers and referees participating in The East Cornwall Youth League and the event at Helston is aimed at those participating in the Kernow Youth League, of course adult clubs from the respective areas are more than welcome as well.
The evening will have plenty of discussion and debate so please take advantage of this opportunity to not only hear from The FA on Respect but also to offer your ideas and thoughts. We have plenty of people with strong opinions and great ideas in our County and this is a great opportunity to put them forward. The sessions are taking place on;
Tuesday 13th March 6:30pm – 8pm @ St Mawgan FC
Wednesday 14th March – 6:30pm – 8pm @ Helston Athletic FC
If you wish to attend one of the two sessions or would like more information please contact Cornwall FA Governance Manager Richard Pallot Richard.pallot@cornwallfa.com or 01208 262983
When registering for the sessions please include details of what your role in football is and how many people you will be attending with.
