Social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter are great ways of getting the club some free promotion. Having a club website can also offer the club an opportunity to promote itself across Cornish football - having someone managing this who can keep it up to date and looking good will increase the number of visitors to the page helping to promote your club and give your volunteers a digital home.
If done right, marketing the club can lead to an increase in players and volunteers as well as sponsorship opportunities. Utilising local press can also be a worthwhile task as they will often promote grassroots stories and info at a very small or no fee.
It is worth being mindful that club websites and social media accounts are in the public domain and therefore you should exercise caution and responsibility when using these platforms.
