Cornwall Sunday League to kick off on 14th October

For the past few weeks there has been uncertainty over the future of The Cornwall Sunday League, however following a meeting of all member clubs and Cornwall FA we are delighted to announce that the league will continue for the 2018/19 season.

Several issues were discussed at the meeting, including League Structure, Cup Competitions and the need for people to step forward and take on administration roles on the league. From the member clubs we have now appointed a new Secretary, Treasurer, Fixtures Secretaries and Registration Secretary, we still have vacancies for a Chairman.

The new officers will take the positions with immediate effect and be offered support and guidance for at least the first season by staff at the CCFA. The meeting was extremely positive with a real appetite shown by the existing clubs to make the league work, there will be one Division, comprising 7 teams and 3 Cup Competitions to be played for throughout the season, in addition to the Cornwall Sunday Cup. We hope that with the new committee in place and the support from CCFA we may be able to grow the league over the coming seasons.
