Since Stuart came into post he has been speaking to lots of referees around to County to see how we can work with them to develop refereeing in the County and asking how we can support them going forward. In addition Stuart has also been looking at ways to boost our referee workforce, kicking this off is our first Referees Course of the season which will take place at the end of November! FA Basic Referees Course Details

Venues:

East: Cornwall FA Office, Bodmin                   West: Wendron Football Club

Dates and Times:

Friday 24th 18:30 to 21:30 - Practical and Theory Session

Saturday 25th 10:00 till 17:00 - FA Safeguarding Children Workshop (AM)/ Practical and Theory Session (PM) 

Sunday 26th 10:00 till 17:00 - Practical and Theory Session with mock Laws of the Game exam

As part of the course you will be mentored in 5 games within a 4 month period, after this has taken place you will be invited back to sit a formal Laws of the Game exam, if you pass this you will become a Level 7 Referee (16+) or Youth Referee (14-16). 

Cost: £100*

*Once you have completed the course and refereed 10 games in the Trelawney League, Duchy League or Kernow Youth League (all games in same league) the league will then refund 50% of your course fees back.
