Free Ground Advice

There's an opportunity to attend a free Groundsman’s workshop delivered by rugby's Twickenham supremo Keith Kent. It's on Tuesday 15th January 2013 at St. Austell Rugby Club from 7pm to 9pm.

Part of Keith’s role with the RFU is to support Community Clubs, offering them advice and guidance on improving their playing surfaces.  Keith’s pedigree is second to none, the 58-year-old served his apprenticeship in Leicester, where he played rugby union, and had 17 years working at Leicester City FC after joining them in 1970. He then spent 15 years at Old Trafford as Manchester United’s Head Groundsman before joining the RFU in 2002.

Keith shares interesting stories and importantly key facts and useful tips to develop volunteers understanding and knowledge of pitch maintenance and care.

To book onto the workshop please send the names of attendees email Mike Bratt or text or call  07764 960 380.
