Coaches

WELCOME TO THE COACHING AREA OF THE CORNWALL FA WEBSITE

Here you'll find all of the information around the coaching courses and development opportunities available.

One of the biggest influences in any player's career is their coach. Coaching is an opportunity to inspire a new generation of players, giving them the skills they need to go on and play the beautiful game for many years.

To give their players the best opportunity to develop, achieve their maximum potential and importantly, enjoy the game, coaches must be aware of the latest techniques and philosophies involved in coaching the game.

 Development and Courses

Following the FA Coach Education restructure, in 2019/20 coach education opportunities and courses are now managed centrally by the FA therefore meaning the County FA's don't manage coaching, safeguarding and first aid courses anymore and all booking is through England Football Learning.

One noticeable change to be aware of is that The FA centrally are now responsible for administrating and managing coach education courses with Cornwall FA taking on responsibility for supporting the workforce via a range of coach development events throughout the year. This therefore means any course (e.g. coaching, safeguarding or first aid) bookings are taken through England Football Learning.

There are also other online e-learning opportunities available to you if you visit The new England Football Learning Website all of which will help you as you continue your learning journey.
