Charity Cup

Each year the CCFA choose a worthy charity to benefit from this competition and this year's chosen charity is FLEET, so come along and cheer on your local team whilst supporting this fantastic local charity.

Welcome to the Charity Cup section

The Durning-Lawrence Charity Cup began when the late Sir Edward Durning-Lawrence, presented a cup to Truro AFC for charitable purposes and the cup was later handed to the Cornwall County Football Association to organise an annual competition for charity.

Each year Cornwall FA choose a worthy charity to benefit from this competition and we are pleased to confirm that this year's chosen charity is FLEET.

FLEET is a registered charity that was formed by Cornish Ambulance Staff in 1990 with the aim of upgrading and standardising the equipment carried on all of Cornwall’s Ambulances.  With generous help from the Cornish people, businesses and organisations FLEET has raised over £1,000,000 since 1990, all of which has been put into providing vital equipment that helps save lives across the county.

Early this year FLEET donated a defibrillator to Cornwall FA for use at all our Cup Competitions and have also installed defibrillators at St Blazey and Wadebridge Football Clubs, this was only made possible due to the donations and sponsorship received when FLEET members took part in the London Marathon.
