Coach Development Events coming to Culdrose and Newquay

This is your final chance to attend an event this season.

Cornwall FA is pleased to announce two more Coach Development Events. These will be the final events of the 2022/23 season ahead of the summer break.

Our Coach Development Events offer a great opportunity for local grassroots coaches to further their thinking in a practical setting. There is also the opportunity to network with other coaches and gain new ideas to take back to their club environments. This session will focus on the Benefits of Small-Sided Games.

The Benefits of Small-Sided Games

 How can small-sided games:

  • Develop attacking and defending players both individually and when combining with others?
  • Meet the differing needs and abilities of the players?
  • Develop skilful players?

These events will be delivered by Vicky Fisher, Abdoullah Kheir and Vinny Halsall, Coach Development Officers for the South West region, working with local youth players in order to show how the ideas discussed can transfer to the pitch.

Culdrose – Tuesday, 20th June
Newquay – Thursday, 22nd June

Both of these events will start at 6:30pm and end at approximately 8:30pm.

Culdrose – sign up now!

Newquay – Sign up now!

Please be aware, these events may be photographed and/or video recorded and shared by Cornwall FA and partners for marketing purposes.

Feel free to share this event with other coaches at your club so that they don't miss out on an insightful evening. After you have booked on, an email will be sent out closer to the event to provide a preview of the night and any relevant further details (e.g. venue parking).
