Following the success of Cornwall FA's Groundskeeper Development workshops in the East and West of the county in March, Cornwall FA is pleased to offer this workshop to more clubs via an additional online session.

If you were unable to come to either of our face-to-face events, now is your chance to book on and garner the same insight given to clubs that attended in person. No matter the size of your club, organisations big and small can all benefit from funding to improve their playing surface and facilities.

At our events in Wendron and Bodmin, clubs gathered to learn more about the funding that is available to help develop our grass pitches here in Cornwall. Ash Hendrickx-Nutley from the Grounds Management Association (GMA) gave a practical demonstration on Pitch Power and how clubs can use the simple web app to assess their pitches and apply for funding. Attendees then had the chance to see what that money can do as they saw some of the available machinery in action thanks to demonstrations from Vincent Tractors and Plant. Tractors, mowers, line markers and plenty more - learn how your club can apply for funding to help you purchase what your grounds need.

The session will finish at approximately 8:30pm, which could vary depending on Q&A and practical demonstration duration.

Cornwall FA is also offering the chance to win some fantastic prizes. Clubs who complete a Pitch Power inspection and apply to the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund before the end of April will be entered into a draw to win one of three prizes.

Up for grabs are:

1 x iGo Mini line marker with a free installation visit and 20 litres of white paint (RRP of over £780)
2 x soil sampler and mallet (RRP of over £270)
