Show Your Support for Rainbow Laces

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR RAINBOW LACES AND MAKE FOOTBALL EVERYONE’S GAME

In a show of support for LGBT+ equality in sport, grassroots football clubs across Cornwall are wearing Rainbow Laces in their boots over the coming weekends to promote the message that football is everyone’s game.

Research shows that 4 in 10 LGBT people don’t think that sport is welcoming, which is why this show of support, at both county and national level, is hugely important.

Football has an amazing power to bring people together and Rainbow Laces provides clubs with an opportunity to stand up, challenge anti-LGBT language and show they care.

RAINBOW LACES IN CORNWALL

Plenty of clubs in Cornwall are showing support for Rainbow Laces, with St Agnes Ladies Firsts launching the campaign at their County Cup tie on Sunday 17 November.

Many games across the county have been affected by poor weather conditions recently, but there will be more Rainbow Laces support on show when Wadebridge Town Ladies, St. Austell Town Ladies and St. Agnes Ladies Reserves all take to the field.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Clubs are encouraged to access The FA’s activation pack below, which will help to ensure you’re doing everything possible to get the most out of The FA’s assets and resources.
