Aspiring football referees in Cornwall now have a fantastic opportunity to pick up the whistle and start refereeing, with a new FA Referee Course set to begin at St Day AFC in Redruth on Monday 6 January.
Whether you want to referee on a grassroots level to earn extra money or one day walk the ball out at Wembley Stadium, the FA Referee Course is the best place to learn a range of theory and practical elements including positioning, movement, offside and advantage.
The course at St Day FC will introduce learners to the Laws of Association Football and their application on the field of play, focussing on the knowledge, skills and attributes required to operate safely and effectively in grassroots football.

NB: You will also need to attend the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop (date to be confirmed)
The price of this course is £100, which includes all training modules and materials, the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop, examinations and the first season of referee registration.
