Second Cornish Player gets England call up

Another Cornish COE Graduate gets England camp call up

Brandon Pursall who plays his football with Plymouth Argyle Academy becomes the second Cornish player to be selected for the England Under-15s training camp which will take place from August 14th-17th in Loughborough.

 Brandon attends Brannel School in St Stephen and advanced through Cornwall’s player pathway which was revised in September of 2012 in partnership with Plymouth Arygle FC.

Daniel Greenough, Senior Football Development Officer at Cornwall FA said;

 "Cornwall FA would like to congratulate another Cornwall Centre of Excellence graduate Brandon Pursall on being selected for the U15 England training camp.

 This again goes to prove again the quality and opportunities Cornish football can provide.  Brandon has been involved in local football before he was signed by Plymouth Argyle’s Academy and also trained and played matches at the Cornwall Centre of excellence which Cornwall FA and Plymouth Argyle run in partnership to provide a clear pathway for our talented players in Cornwall.

 Cornwall FA will be releasing more information in the near future on our male and female pathway to highlight the opportunities available to our football family and clarify any misconceptions."

Good luck to both Brandon and Oscar from all at Cornwall FA!
