Girls ACC Trial Information

Cornwall FA is pleased to announce upcoming trial dates for the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre for 2017/18 Season.

The Advanced Coaching Centre (ACC) is licensed and supported by The FA. It provides talented young female players throughout Cornwall an opportunity to reach their full potential within football and progress in the talent pathway, enabling the programme to reach its ultimate goal in producing elite female players to compete at international level.

The ACC provides players with appropriate levels of coaching and support in addition to the training they currently receive in their grassroots club. Every player continues to play for their grassroots club, whilst receiving training once a week through the ACC. In addition to training, the ACC challenges the skills and development of players in fixtures and festivals against other centres within the South West Region (Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire).

From the Cornwall ACC programme, elite players could be selected to attend a trial for the FA Girls’ Regional Excellence Camp (South West) which involves residential camps throughout the season.
