Success for Cornish Girls

We would like to wish some of the Cornwall FA Girls Advanced Coaching players the best of luck for their Trial at the Regional Excellence Camp...

This season we are very proud to be sending 8 players across 2 age groups up to the Girls Regional Excellence Camp taking place at Huish Episcopi Academy, Somerset. Over the course of the last season and the beginning of this season these 8 players have worked very hard to develop and have shown some real talent resulting in them being nominated by their age group coaches at the Girls ACC.

Successful players will then be invited to attend 4 2-day residential Camp's throughout the season in which the best players from the South West will attend. Last season we were proud to have 2 players represented at the Camps and are hoping for even more success this season. Our players attending the camp are;

U14's

Beth, Sophie and Millie

U16's

Elena, Katie, Beth, Charlotte and Sally

Good luck girls!

National Camp for Beth!

In addition to this one of our Under 14's players from the Girls Advanced Coaching Centre, Beth Ireland has been invited to attend the first U14's National Performance Camp of the season.

Only players identified as having elite potential are given the opportunity to attend The FA National Performance Camp and Beth is one of only 30 players from across England invited to player. The aim of the NPC is to allow players the chance to train and play amongst high level players from across the country. With guidance and support from FA technical staff, players are also given access to specialist medical and sports science support to further aid their football development. It is a fantastic opportunity for Beth to play with players from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. We wish Beth the best of luck for the Camp which is taking place from 23rd-25th September at Loughborough University.
