Cornwall FA are hosting a free-of-charge workshop for FA Level 1 and Level 2-licensed coaches on Thursday 16th April between 6.30pm and 9.30pm at Brannel School, St Austell.

The course will contain theory and a practical session relating to the recently-announced campaign to get national football flourishing, and explain more about what England DNA means to those involved in the running of grassroots football.

The England DNA scheme, aimed at identifying a winning formula in the drive to establishing a successful England team, was unveiled to more than 1,500 coaches at the FA’s national soccer centre at St George’s Park in December.

The initiative has been adopted from certain coaching methods utilised in Germany and Belgium, and the FA is keen to instil an “all-for-one” philosophy in clubs and players across the national game, from youth level up to senior standing.

Targeting in particular England’s youth teams from under-15s through to men’s under-21s and women’s under-23s, England DNA effectively acts as a start point for the FA’s approach to elite player development.

This event is being led by our Regional Coach Development Managers Tony McCallum and Martin Dighton, it should be a fantastic insight and is definitely not one to be missed!
