Praze Utd Winners

Praze United Youth win 4-1.

P.M Bartlett Trophy Final

Sticker Youth 1 v Praze United Youth 4

Praze came out on top in a match which for 75 minutes was evenly contested.

However two late goals added to earlier strikes saw Praze United win the P.M.Bartlett for the first time of asking.

The match played at Godolphin Way, home of Godolphin Atlantic FC enabled the very proud Club Committee to switch on their newly installed floodlights for the first time during a competitive fixture.

On a blustery chilly evening Praze took an early lead through Fred Horsell after 3minutes but Sticker came back strongly forcing Praze FC 'keeper Josh Gilbert into action on several occasions. With the big switch on half time, Praze wasted no time in increasing their lead through in the 49th minute from Sam Trevena. Sticker without regular 'keeper' Dan Peters on duty with Truro City Res defended stoutly but conceded two late goals through County Youth striker Jamie Payne, 75 minutes, and Solomon Coppola, 85 minutes. Sticker responded with a late goal from another County Youth player Martyn Duff tapping in a rebound in the 90th minute.

At the conclusion of the match Debbie Knowles presented Praze United with the Kernow League Trophy and Sticker with the Sporting Club award. The County President Brian Conyon responded with handing over the P.M.Bartlett Trophy to the delighted Praze team and management.

Congratulations Praze Youth

Congratulations to Praze United Youth on winning the P.M Bartlett Trophy. Cornwall FA would like to thank everyone involved and extend our thanks to Godolphin Atlantic for their hospitality and facilities.
