Nominate for 2013 Community Awards

    •

Now in its fourth year the annual FA Community Awards, presented by McDonald’s, recognise and reward the people and organisations who are driving grassroots football. The Awards build on the continued commitment of McDonald’s to improve standards of community football and to increase participation across all aspects of the game through The FA Charter Standard Leagues and Clubs.

The Awards are in eight categories, with each category being judged at a county, regional and national levels.

  • FA Charter Standard Club of the Year
  • FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year
  • FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year
  • FA Charter Standard League of the Year
  • Young Volunteer of the year (Under 25 years old)
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • FA Coach of the Year
  • People’s Award - Outstanding Contribution to Community Football

People’s Award - Outstanding Contribution to Community Football
Clubs and leagues can submit applications on behalf of an individual. At County and Regional levels the judges will be looking for real excellence. It’s not a Lifetime Achievement Award - we are looking for a long-term legacy from the individual. We are ideally seeking an individual for this award, but it could be given to an organisation, body or league/club. We, Cornwall FA, can  nominate somneone too. At National level, this award will be voted for by the public.

Please use the link below to nominate. The closing date for all nominations in the categories above is Friday 22 March 2013.

We will be announcing the Cornwall FA county winners in April.
