This year's Community Awards have been presented. The event was held at Cornwall FA’s new county office in Bodmin.
Andy Mitchell, Cornwall FA’s County Development Manager said, “All the people here tonight being honoured for their contribution to our national game are worthy winners. We hold them all in high regard for the fantastic amount of work they do on a voluntary basis for football in Cornwall.” The awards were presented by Cornwall FA’s President Brian Conyon MBE, Chairman Geoff Lee, Vice-Chairman David Bray and Council Members Dennis Champion, Phil Bunt, David Rawlings, and Ian Anear.
Coach of the Year: James Ross Wadebridge Town FC
Volunteer of the Year: Sharon Hodgkin Shortlanesend FC
Young Volunteer of the Year: Ben Rosevear Charlestown Youth FC
Outstanding Contribution to Football: Debbie Knowles Kernow Youth League
The FA Charter Standard Club Award Winners
Club: The Five Islands School FC
Community Club: Penryn Athletic FC and Falmouth United Youth FC
Development Club: Newquay AFC Youth
