to represent West Cornwall within the County Schools football set up and provide players for the full County Schools side at Under 16 and Under 18 level.
There will also be an East Cornwall representative side as well as other County Schools teams against who fixtures will be played throughout the season.
The West Cornwall Advanced centre, based at Cornwall College Camborne will be coached by high level professional coaches with specific Goalkeeper training and match specific analysis and tactical training. The players within the squad will represent their county at three different levels dependant on age.
Trials will also beheld for children aged 8 – 11 to represent Kerrier within a new county set up. The other districts around Cornwall will also be holding these trials and matches will be played throughout the season against these teams and the Plymouth Argyle satellite centres at Truro and Bodmin.
The Kerrier Development Centre, based at Cornwall College Camborne, will provide a direct link to the Plymouth Argyle centres to help develop the most talented young players within Cornwall.
The trials will take place on Thursday 2nd October and Thursday 9th October from 5pm – 6.30pm at Cornwall College Camborne. The final squads will be announced on the Cornwall college website by Friday 10th October with a welcome session to the selected players on Thursday 16th October. www.WCFDC.co.uk
