Course Information
This is a 6 hour course aimed at coaches and qualified teachers (QTS) who wish to further their knowledge and confidence in coaching young players.
It will include practical sessions as well as theory and group discussions.
No prior coaching qualifications are required.
The course can also act as a refresher for Level 1 coaches or a stepping stone to qualified teachers and coaches who wish to progress to The FA Youth Award, Module 1 ‘Developing the Environment’ or for Level 1 coaches to progress to the 1st4 Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football.
Attendance by at least 1 coach per club at this course is a criteria for Charter Standard Clubs to renew their existing status.
